The Moore-Settle House was designed by local architect A. J. Barrett, and constructed in 1899 in the Victorian Queen Anne style. It has been beautifully maintained over the years. The wood clapboard is painted a light tan, with white trim.
The roof is pitched wood shingle. A focal point is the turret room, accessible only from the third floor attic. It is bracketed by the second floor balcony and the first floor entry shelter. The curved eave of this entry cover is unusual. The covering is supported by four plain doric columns. The windows are one-over-one with wood framing. In 1904 an addition to the rear of the home enclosed the first and second floors.
At the front curb is an upping stone and two horse-head hitching posts. Brick walkways show brick stamped with "CHANDLER O.T." (Oklahoma Territory) dating them prior to Oklahoma statehood in 1907.
The house was placed on the National Register in 1983.
